2011: Expert CV Tip of the Week 4

The How to Make a CV Tip of the Week 4 is:
“Get your CV proof-read, numerous times”
OK, so you’ve finished writing your CV? You’ve put in the hours researching what to put in a CV, what order to put it in, how to format your curriculum vitae, how to write the CV with the reader in mind, tailoring every aspect of your CV to what is required for the person that will be offering you an interview. One problem, because you’ve forgotten to have your CV proof read, your spelling and grammar stinks! Don’t let this be a problem! Simply have someone proof read the resume and clarify any errors for correction.
It’s essential to get your CV proof-ready by an external person. This will enable additional feedback and is a great way to gain a positive critique. Beware to only have someone proof-read your CV if you can handle the feedback! All too often I’ve given advice to people on their CV and advised items for edit, at their request, and then had the feedback taken in the wrong context. Getting a second opinion takes just five minutes and can add extra depth to your CV, not to mention highlight any problem with the CV.
Give yourself the edge, two heads are better than one-> have your CV proof-read

I like your transitions and clarity. I have been writing for Ghost Writers for a while now, and they pay me very well to write blog posts like this, or articles. I clear $100-$200 on a bad evening.
Judging by your love for written words, you may enjoy doing the same.
It wouldnt hurt to check them out. Here are the details

Hi Mike, I’m not totally sure if RSS is set up properly for this website? It’s not something I have a great deal of experience with just yet however thanks for bringing it to my attention. I’ll have to look into this. If you have any suggestions as to what you think could be the problem please let me know.
